HEALTH AND SAFETY

GLOBAL DOG ACADEMY RECOGNIZES ITS DUTY TO COMPLY WITH THE HEALTH & SAFETY AT WORK ACT 1974 AND WILL, AS FAR AS REASONABLY PRACTICABLE:

1) Provide proper and adequate resources to maintain Health and Safety.

2) Carry out Risk assessment and review them when necessary.

3) Provide and maintain proper safe working systems.

4) Establish arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transport of material and substances.

5) Provide employees with such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to secure their safety and health at work and that of others who may be affected by their actions.

6) Carry out Health and Safety inspections, audits and surveillance where required.

7) Ensure that all machinery, vehicles and equipment are maintained in a safe and working condition.

8) Make adequate provision and arrangements for welfare facilities at work.

9) Monitor safety performances to maintain agreed standards.S OF :

1) Take reasonable care of their own Health and Safety and that of every person connected with their conduct and affected by their acts or omissions at work.

2) Co-operate with others in the Company to fulfill our statutory duties.

3) Not interfere with, misuse, cause willful damage to anything provided in the interest of Health and Safety.

TO ENSURE THIS POLICY IS EFFECTIVE, GLOBAL DOG ACADEMY WILL:

1) Review the policy annually or when significant changes take affect in our   business.
2) Make any and all such changes known to all employees.
3) Maintain procedures for communication and consultation between all levels of staff on matters of Health, Safety and Welfare.
